2/2 also a good example of why scientists cannot by themselves lead responses related to their research. Educators play a vital role. We often know the science, why doesn’t it trickle down? Because scientists are not natural teachers. That’s another group of scholars—educators.

In conclusion, fund educators (and their research). The science knowledge by itself does not tell us the most vital parts: what to do, how, & how to share it. This is the field of education. Scientists do amazing work. Their work is awesome, but it’s not education.
