At the end of the day, while you are right in saying this fandom is not *entirely* angels, the majority of us mind their business. Countless threads have proved the problematic fans y'all deal with from our fandom are a MINORITY. Yet you thought it was smart to make that thread.+

I understand it can be frustrating to see people trash your faves sometimes, we hate it too. But emotional tweeting with no fact-checking is NOT the way to handle things, and just because other people have done it, it doesn't excuse you at all.+

That thread did nothing more than generalize us based on behaviors found in every fandom, including yours. And nobody batted an eyelash because it's ARMYs, so of course, we must have deserved it, right?+

The most annoying part of the thread was your assumption that hate tweets against us or BTS only get up to 300 likes. I've been on Twitter for over 2 years and have seen hate tweets get up to 30k likes, saying things that make the word "flop" look like a term of endearment.+

Aside from racists, homophobes, and many other degenerates of society, our biggest enemies of progress have been the problematic side of the Kpop community, which is A LOT of y'all. Never have I seen the community collectively supportive of anything that BTS did.+

Yet you wanna say that ARMYs are the worst fandom because of what? That we're always toxic because of what? Have y'all ever sat down for a second and thought about WHY ARMYs don't like some of you? It's when you make threads like this, painting us all with the same brush.+

You dismissed the struggles and issues a lot of ARMYs had with the Kpop community because YOU believed that nobody on your side could do anything wrong. Most ARMYs never pretend that we're all perfect, but some of y'all think your God's gift. That's a problem.+

So next time you see an ARMY you don't like, instead of writing a generalizing open letter that literally none of us want to read, how about you make the effort to report or block them? That would solve your problem faster than any thread would.+
