@ShawnTomkin's Ironsworn is a free, fantastic fantasy RPG which rightly deserved to do well. Its ruleset is flexible and the setting is unobstrusive but instructive in running the game which has a range of options for solo, co-op, and GM-led play https://www.ironswornrpg.com
