So there's a rumor going around that countries where people get the TB vaccine aren't getting hit hard by Covid 19. I wanted to investigate so here is what I am doing: Comparing number of TB cases to number of Corona cases. Note that I am an idiot who knows nothing about science.
Let's look at South America first for some very interesting results. You can see in the 1st image that there seems to be a strong correlation. Countries with high TB cases have low Corona cases. Compare Chile, Uruguay, and Ecuador with Peru and Bolivia
Now let's move to North America. You can once again see that there's a strong correlation. Number of Covid cases high in USA, low in Mexico and other countries below it, then we reach Panama and high Covid cases, while TB cases are present in the opposite order
South Asia and the adjoining areas show the same pattern. Opposite rates of disease for Corona and TB, look at how colors change going from In, PK, AFG to Iran. Look at how Oman and Yemen have intensity flipped in both maps. Saudi Arabia too
Exact same thing can be seen in Europe. Ukraine, Poland, and Romania have TB but not that much Covid-19, on the other hand, while France, Italy, and Spain do not have TB but a lot of Covid 19 cases
What does this tell us? There does seem to be a correlation. However I am not a scientist or a doctor, so I cannot say that this really means anything. If you've read something about this then please share some info with me.

Fin.
Correction - tagged the wrong country as Romania previously
