Everytime I go to buy grocery, uncles and aunties wearing hankie masks remind me to wear a mask by getting uncomfortably close to me with no regard for social distancing. If this happens to you, please read and share this thread.
If you are someone who does this or your parents do this, please note that the Indian Government and/or WHO have not recommended strict use of masks.
Here's what WHO says: If you are healthy, you ONLY need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection. Wear a mask if you are coughing or sneezing. If you wear a mask, then you must know how to use it and dispose of it properly.
Please note (and share/spread awareness) that social distancing and NOT touching your face (to adjust your face mask) is more important than using masks.
Not to mention that panic buying of masks creates a shortage of masks for people who ACTUALLY need a mask.
Please keep your hands away from your face and your nose out of other people's business (by maintaining a healthy distance). Thank you!
