My passion is exploring new places around my city and around the world. Being trapped at home is tough. Join me on a virtual journey, all pics are mine (or my wife’s).

I live in Uptown, in the heart of the city. It’s a great neighborhood for dog lovers. I can’t wait until our neighborhood dog park / bar re-opens. It’s a great place to have a margarita and watch awkward first dates.
Dallas is full of music, art and culture. It’s not always obvious as most visitors to “Dallas” spend their time in suburban shopping malls and chain restaurants. But it’s there, it’s as diverse as the city and I miss it.
Let’s travel around Texas. Let’s go East to Caddo Lake, maybe get in a canoe and look at alligators.
Then let’s go on to Houston to visit my in-laws. On second thought let’s not.
Then let’s go to Zacatecas, Mexico and join a callejoneada. It’s basically a roaming street party where we’ll follow a mariachi band and a mezcal-carrying donkey. We’ll drink too many shots of mezcal for sure.
