145. वर्तमान उत्तराखंड (तत्कालीन उत्तर प्रदेश) में 6 शताब्दी ईसा का जो जनपद टिहरी गढ़वाल के पलेठी ग्राम में है तथा पलेठी का सूर्य मंदिर के नाम से जाना जाता है तथा राज्य पुरातत्व का सरंक्षित स्मारक है। सूर्य मंदिर कटारमल 12-13 वीं शताब्दी ईसवी का उल्लेख इस पुस्तक में है परन्तु..
..पलेठी सूर्य मंदिर जो कि 6-7 वीं शताब्दी में निर्मित हुआ इसका उल्लेख न हो पाया, दो बड़े बड़े समकालीन शिलालेख यहां हैं जो कि बाहर खुले में पड़े पड़े विकृत हो गए हैं तथा वर्म्मन शासकों (कल्याणवर्मन) आदि के नामों का उल्लेख इसमें है।
