If you’re in a relationship and you are transitioning into Islam you have to understand something. There is a dominant and subordinate in that relationship. You have to understand the dominant is most likely going to be the one to make the most sacrifices for their family

(Kids or no kids you are 1, you are family.) You have to understand you are two different HUMAN beings, meaning you are both on different paths, even if your goal is the same and that is to be closer to Allah. Or better perspective, “same path, different speed.”

While understanding this, know that there WILL be times where you have to make sacrifices as the son to help build the Subordinate up. Remember you are now 1, meaning family, meaning everything one does is a reflection on the other. PLEASE think about that.

You are no longer only thinking for yourself. If you live your life wrongly, while your spouse is trying to better, eventually you will tear apart because you no longer see eye to eye, how Nation of Islam was created on its own in the first place.

Now let me reflect on the importance of dom and sub. They are meant to balance one another. If one is down the other is up and vise versa. One can call on the other and the other will always be there, that’s the idea of it.

Now, like I said earlier a lot of times the Dom is the one making the most sacrifices and they take on that role to neverrrr give up on the sub, but the sub has to be considerate enough to fully grasp this idea.
