World T20 2016 Final Thread

For me, the final of 2016 T20 WC was not only memorable for ( @TridentSportsX ) 4 sixes in the last over of @benstokes38 but also for the epic commentary by the commentators.. 1/n

Therefore, I tried to collect the commentary from the match and this thread contains the comm gems of Eng's batting innings.

FYI, The commentary panel was filled with elite players and commentators such as @BumbleCricket, @irbishi @nassercricket @sanjaymanjrekar @mmbangwa. 2/n

Nasser's classic first up
Badree to Roy: "Oh! Just sneaking down, I think. It's gonna skid on, its not gonna turn much. Just sliding! may be clipping leg."

Next, Hales chips one straight to Badree.

Meanwhile, Root gets his second boundary by playing his second back-foot cover drive.

Bumble steps in

M: Yeah spot on Bumble! You see it again, Eoin Morgan plant that front foot, just plays through his hands and not picking that wrong'un again 7/n

Root plays some glorious shots that also included a flick to Badree
Bumble: "Flighted, full toss! flirted away and will find that long mid wicket boundary there"
Butler drives Benn for a one bounce four to the covers
Sanjay Manjrekar: "Oh! that's a good shot! 50 comes up! 8/n

And in the next over, he goes over long on for a huge six.
S: "He has gone straight, has gone very high... & the smoke comes up "
Butler middles another:
M: got the boundary but Butler wants more! He has got enough on this! back to back sixes" 9/n

Eng players seemed to find fielders for the good shots. Butler was the culprit this time as he hits it straight down to the mid-wicket fielder.
S: "looked a good shot but might go to the fielder and it does. And there's the bravo dance. The big man Braithwaite.. 10/n

"Butler was teeing off.. Danger man Butler is gone"
Root played his best shots when Nasser was commentating. Hits a fierce cut and Nasser describes "Shot! Lovely Shot! It was short, it was wide, It was asking for punishment!"
On Root's fifty: "Run machine Joe Root!.. 11/n

Stokes departs, Moeen too. N: "Oh, glove is it? down the leg side! yes, gone! nick down the leg side. Bravo has another. Eng have lost 6."

Eng somehow reach 142 when Plunkett is caught brilliantly by Badree.
Bish is ecstatic: "ohh! brilliant, brilliant from Samuel, Samuel Badreee but he might have hurt himself!"
