The big thing is this awesome camera rig built by Zack. The diagram is complicated, but the principle is similar to what he did with speed ramping in 300. It allows him to record multiple resolutions/frame rates/etc in order to blend shots in post #BORGLIFE #ReleaseTheSnyderCut

Here's another example from that same scene. See how the camera is in motion, but it's not on a crane or zooming. It's on a rotating track and it's layering 35mm and 75mm film and doing zoom in post without degrading quality. #BORGLIFE #ReleaseTheSnyderCut

It's not hard to see why it reminds me so much of Dr. Manhattan's origin story in Watchmen. I love looking at these deleted scenes set to Pruit Igoe and Prophecies for that reason. #BORGLIFE #ReleaseTheSnyderCut
