there was someone in this community who used to consistently ask me for trainz models and routes because he wanted to start making videos using the software as his collection was donated without permission. having considered this person a close friend, and because i wanted to-

-help him out, i gave him everything i could. immediately after he got everything he wanted, he cut me out of his life and began acting like i don't exist. then, while midwest mashup was still going on, he made a huge stink about it calling meetups "toxic". but it doesn't end-

-there. i sent him a NIB ertl stepney for free because i knew he'd enjoy it, and he seemed grateful, and even promised me a take-along edward in return. it's been almost 3 years and i've gotten absolutely nothing from him.

the reason i made this thread is because he continues to deride me to this day, and it honestly hurts that someone i thought was my friend was only using me for his own gain and legitimately didn't care at all.

now because i like to think i'm a reasonable person, if the user in question sincerely apologizes, i will remove this thread and i will not reveal who it was. i really didn't want to make this a public issue but he's left me with no other option.
