Thread on Police Modernization.
Few days ago i posted about Glock pistols with UP Police and then people jumped into the post and questioned the move.
Many said that it is unnecessary for them to have Glocks, instead they can work with OFB's 9mm.

Some said that police should focus more on improving other things like increasing police station's diesel quota or lessening working hours of personnel. They said that police can work without Glocks

I totally agree that other admin related work has to be improved in the police department. But what about equipment upgradation. They are the same people who cry their hearts out when police personnel are killed due to faulty arms (.303 during 26/11)

Police modernization has different parts which includes Administration, HR and Equipment. All of them are equally import.
And you know what, they are the same people who mock the police force with their "thain thain" jibes.

People need to understand that 9mm OFB is not at all reliable side-arm. Our police badly needs a good side arm for the urban environment as well as rural.

My suggestion would be -
(URBAN)
Glock 19 Gen 5 or
Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0

And for rural areas
1. FN Five Seven. (Damnn good)
2. Glock 30 Gen 4
