@maggiekb1 Hey, read your piece on handwashing. So, to clarify: At least one paper you cited claimed using hand sanitizer is more effective than washing hands with soap and water? Is that uncontroversial? True for viruses? Feel like that's pretty important & needs its own story.

E.g., washing your hands the "recommended" ways I've seen is time-consuming, fairly difficult to do correctly anyway, and in my experience hurts my hands after awhile (oh and don't rub them TOO raw). Would washing hands normally to get off dirt and then using sanitizer be better?
