Subramanian Badrinath during 2010 and the 2011 season was top class for the Chennai Super Kings.
2010 - 356 @ 32.56 ( avg)
But 2011 was the year where he was standout and literally acted as the backbone to the CSK batting.
2011- 396 @ 56.57.

Full marks to MS as well for finding a way to use him so brilliantly. Not the most suited to this format meant he had to be in the top order but that was sealed early so he used him brilliantly as a floater. Batting first he was sent in if they lost a wicket early

Even when they were chasing a tricky 140 he was sent in ahead of the likes of Raina to probably put them in a comfortable position and did it successfully more often than not.
Really looked like he had a long career ahead for India but didn't turn out to be.

Some of the shots he played and his intent in the running between wickets was probably standout. Someone who I enjoyed watching bat and a vital cog in that successful years of CSK.
