I’m really concerned about Black people walking around with scarves, bandanas, etc wrapped around their faces to protect from COVID but being deemed suspicious or dangerous because of those precautions https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😞" title="Disappointed face" aria-label="Emoji: Disappointed face">
Had to go out today. It was a gorgeous, sunny, warm day (not many of those in Michigan yet), but every Black person I saw was wearing a standard face mask or a winter scarf. No one had on a bandana. This is what it’s like to be Black in US-always worried abt layers of safety.
