if I had nothing and need money today, I won’t mind washing cars to raise money

the guy that washes my car charges N2,500 ($6)/wash. If I wash 4 cars a day I’d make 10K

I’d then buy 20 pieces of shirts at the thrift store at N500/piece. Resell for 4K each + cuff links as upsell

By the time I’m done selling all 20, here’s the money made

4K (after being starched & washed) x 20 = N80K ($190)

With 80K I can then buy half a bale of clothes which can contain 100-150 pcs of shirts to resell

I’d rinse & repeat till I have enough cash

My mum has did this biz

I know the ins and outs of Thrift clothes selling because my Mum Augumented her govt salary with this

what I want you reading this to understand is there’s dignity in labor

I’ve done crazy manual labor before just to make money

Be proud of your hustle & make sacrifices

No one cares that I sold shoes before, that’s the past

but for your future self to be a great person you gotta make sacrifices

what most people have are excuses, you want success without working for it

you can either make money or excuses, you can’t have both

see the truth is No one will give you the life you want unless you go for it yourself

I won’t piss on anyone’s hustle because I know what it takes to make money the tough way

but as long as you don’t steal, defraud people. I’d give you my moral support
