Well there has been some (vanishingly slight) interest so here goes....my favourite boulders, mostly @BRITICECHRONO, but a few others thrown in.
A controversial one to start from the Isles of Scilly....were they even glaciated?
A much safer bet, a nice perched boulder from Shetland.
Some boulders come with their own moat to keep out the riff-raff.
Others have guard sheep.
One of my personal favourites from the uninhabited island of Mingulay in the Outer Hebrides.
Another stunning view looking over the Kyle of Durness. You have to pay the ferry when you get halfway across.
Slightly tenuous but there is a perched boulder in this picture, along with a great backdrop and some mediocre glacial erosion landforms.
It's not moved far but it still counts!
Last one for now. On Barra there is a rather large boulder!
