Fauci has in the past been described by former colleagues as arrogant, stubborn, and locked into a particular policy position no matter what. You're definitely seeing this play out with the HCQ debate. He refuses to acknowledge its success. https://twitter.com/LucasFoxNews/status/1246064086204416001?s=20
Fauci's routine dismissiveness of HCQ is the issue. He's now resorting to "majestic leap" and "knockout drug" straw man arguments. Serious people have said it could be very helpful. Why does he not just swallow his pride and acknowledge it? Seems strange.
Folks, there is no grand conspiracy here about a hidden agenda. It's simply the showcasing of the typical flaws of federal bureaucrats.
This is the issue w/ the "just let Fauci do his job" people.

We're not allowed to question the wisdom of the bureaucrats? When did that happen. We're watching Fauci do his job, & he's making a mess of it. That's what a free press is all about - holding ppl like him accountable.
Plus, he came off as entirely unaware of the positive data from HCQ studies. Did he not read them? Is that not his job? Is he ignoring studies that don't confirm his biases?

These are questions that need to be answered.
