An Op Ed Thread:

The Bernie Sanders Formula.

I see now how he attracts so many young non voters.

You see, Bernie preaches rage against a system that he was never able to join.

He calls it the corrupt corporate establishment /1
Bernie's life was always on the fringe. He was never really a part of any movement or organization.

It's not in his DNA. He's an *independent from Vermont* for a reason.

Bernie Sanders has always been a fan of *outsiders* who rail against *establishments*
/2
His current rantings against Democrats is the crescendo in his symphony of malcontent against the *status quo*.

But, it's really nothing more than an expression of frustration against a system he never had the skill or will to thrive in.
/3
Why is Bernie so appealing to young people?

Because he channels THEIR OWN frustrations against systems that they haven't (yet) been able to figure out how to thrive in.

- Education finance
- Healthcare
- Finance
- Government

Bernie's the Avatar for their frustrations
/4
Bernie is leading a movement of ppl who are fed up with a system they don't know how to thrive in.

This explains why the older you get, the less you like him.

Life teaches you how to thrive when you can't have everything you want. Nobody knows this better than black women.
/5
Bernie's movement is doomed to failure because it was never really more than a protest campaign.

He can't govern. He hates government.

He can't establish order. He hates establishments.

*NotMeUs* is nothing more than *WeAreMadAtThem*

/6
The evil of the Bernie campaign is that, when it fails, as its destiny requires, he'll leave 1,000s of angry young people with misdirected malcontent.

They need to learn how to work WITH the establishment, not burn it down.

In the end, Bernie will have failed them.
