I really didn't want to respond to the backlash, but it is difficult when you are being traduced to just sit back and take it. My piece has been legalled several times and I have been assured there is nothing in it that constitutes a contempt of court.

Anyone who knows me at all - whether they like or hate my work - would understand that I take these things very seriously indeed.

And now I am going to stop because I am well aware there are more important things going on in the world right now.

Also, finally, I am not looking for sympathy. This is my job and I am happy to do it. I just needed to contradict that lie because it is important to me, and so I could draw a line under it.
