Does sumbang mahram applied to animals too?

I noticed something abt my cats. they are three Puyen and an Oyen. a breed of my long lost one and only Freckles. the beauty of her breed is that Freckles gave birth to a 1/4 Puyen, 1/2 Puyen, 3/4 Puyen and an Oyen. Amazing innit?

cut it short, Freckles and 2 of the Puyens are gone now (dm for the story) so tinggal Puyen and Oyen. they mated and Oyen gave birth the third generations. 2 kittens. Unfortunately, one died abt a week after the birth. so now there is only one heir of the third generation, Kecik.

Unlike Oyen who is fully orange, Kecik got socks on its feet. So now there are three cats in my house. Puyen, Oyen and Kecik. but then Puyen and Oyen mated again and there were three breeds. but not even a week, they all died later.

and I think, its cuz their recessive genes are just getting stronger and they are likely to be as similar as Oyen, Puyen and Kecik. So their genes will never keep up with the dominance of Puyen, Oyen and Kecik. plus, Puyen and Oyen are siblings so i think there are logics.

Anyway, I did this thread just so I can be enlighten.
