*Short Thread On The Need For Using #Masks for #COVID19*

Advisories for requiring masks are constantly updating, as there are new studies everyday that show that wearing simple surgical / homemade masks can help prevent the spread of an Covid19 infection to a great extent.

I was myself of the opinion that you don't need masks unless you're a high risk person, but in the light of recent studies, models & data, it's best we start wearing a mask when stepping out of our homes.

But, please remember that N95 masks (& even surgical masks) are now in really short supply & must be first made available for doctors, medical / high-risk professionals & those with other preexisting conditions.

Instead, you can make some #masks yourself using 100% cotton!

Please use these re-usable masks (washable after every use) to help curb the spread of coronavirus by:

1. preventing the inhalation of infectious airborne droplets

2. containing exhaled droplets (in case you're a carrier yourself)
