I said a few weeks ago that it's going to be a struggle to keep up with everything going on in #DFIR. Haven't been wrong yet. Lots of people starting new things, and then others that are continuing doing awesome.

So here is the a list of awesome people doing awesome things!
. @HeatherMahalik is putting on daily meetups and is looking for guests!
Join her and many others daily at 12:30 PM Eastern on "Life Does Not Have a Ctrl+Alt+Del" https://twitter.com/HeatherMahalik/status/1245318913451266048
Kevin Ripa has launched a series of almost daily 3-minute videos called "3 Minute Max".

Kevin is a very experienced instructor, teaching and authoring 4 classes!

You've got 3 minutes to tune in right? https://twitter.com/kevinripa/status/1243186039419617280?s=20
Dave Cowen, best known for HECFBlog and the Forensic Lunch, is returning to blogging again!

And weekly Forensic Lunch video streams too!

Definitely something to tune into as if you're not learning something from this you're not paying attention https://twitter.com/HECFBlog/status/1245791221987098625?s=20
Other go-to's for educational content are @davisrichardg @13CubedDFIR videos, as well as the Digital Forensic Survival Podcast @DFIRPodcast, not to mention @aboutdfir and @dfirtraining
Or taking some training with the @SANSInstitute;

We're not sure when the live classes are starting up again, but probably not for a long time.

I sat in on a vlive class last week, it was as good as being in the room, but safer! https://twitter.com/teddemop/status/1245828453137625089?s=20
SANS is also putting on regular @ Mic talks

Here's one by @DFS_JasonJ about the #FOR308 Digital Forensics Essentials class that he is writing with @4enzikat0r and I. Watch his presentation to learn more about our upcoming class. https://twitter.com/SANSInstitute/status/1245796916778225664?s=20
. @AlexisBrignoni has been plugging away at two tools that should be in everyones Mobile Forensic arsenal - iLEAPP and ALEAPP.

If you're keen on developing plugins, or just doing the research, then do it, and share it!

Speaking of which, an iOS examination tool I would like to see more writeups of is ArtEx by Ian Whiffin @BlakDouble.

If someone's got some time, and can run it through it's paces, write up what you find! https://twitter.com/BlakDouble/status/1244423535990173701?s=20
And you can use one of @joshu_hickman1 well-documented forensic images; there's even an iOS one coming up!
https://twitter.com/josh_hickman1/status/1241790848108552192?s=20

You could use one of Josh's previous image to test @B1N2H3X 's parsing methodology

If you're looking for the #DailyDFIR tweets, look no further than @_RyanBenson. Ryan does a great job of finding some bite size pieces of information, plus there's a lot of URL parsing content!

Check out Unfurl too https://twitter.com/_RyanBenson/status/1205161015177961473
Virtual conferences!

We've already had @PancakesCon, @ComfyConAU is coming up. I'm sure there are others, but lots of virtual cons going forward to keep current with. I wasn't travelling for part of the year anyways, so now I may be able to attend some of them remote!
There's also some CTFs to check out!

SANS has scheduled a lot of upcoming challenges

OpenSOC's Camp COVID

And daily challenges by NW3C! https://twitter.com/NW3CNews/status/1242058617173561344?s=20
The #DFIR Discord has been going for two years now, and it's a great place to go get answers to your DFIR questions! There are channels for so many different facets of forensics, and it's very active. Definitely worth a look.
