open ur mind to the base of a sauce that is literally just x_____ (meat, protein sub maybe if it makes good fond) 40, and pepper. oh baby made a Mac sauce with that base and it SMACKED
deglaze the pan after browning ur protein and scrape up fond and add pepper and cook down....base to any tasty sauce probably
