Pandemics are very complex to stop. Thinking that travel ban alone can stop a pandemic is quite stupid. Its mother natures ultimate weapon and a simple travel ban would interrupt its wrath? I dont think so.

Also this given facts are not out of theories it actually happened during the flu pandemic of 1918 which leads the WHO to advise countries that travel ban is not entirely necessary or enough to stop the spread of the virus. But lets say theres the possibility that it might stop

the spread. Considering this facts lets look at when the top 2 countries with the most cases implement their travel bans.
Namely
USA- February 2 (245,175 cases/ 6059 deaths)
Italy- January 31 (115,242 cases/ 13,915 deaths)

Our country travel ban started in March 12. Based on the stats there is no such positive effect on the spread. Its inevitable to be infected. Although the philippine government said that "Travel ban would hurt chinas feelings" is quite fucking stupid. Fuck china. Batman mofus

"Mass testing"
This one is a bit complicated cause I dont know shit about biology but this topic is one of the most tackled so its not an option to leave it hanging. Furthermore this is the most important of them all because keeping track of the count and using the samples to

conduct certain experiments are an advantage on humans against the virus. Im no expert but heres what I learned. To understand the delay you must first understand the testing procedures. First would be to gather a sample from the patients with severe symptoms from the virus

Then carry it to the lab that is PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) capable, its a complex process of looking for the specific RNA strand of the virus in the patients sample. This can also only be done by highly trained experts. Then some science biology stuff that I dont

understand. Then 2 days later voila the result. Now according to the article I red theres only 2 FDA approved testing kits available which can be purchased from china and south korea even mentioning the facts that most of them are faulty but thats not the real reason of the delay

The real reason of our delay is the shortage of PCR capable laboratories. Its really complicated because the lab should be super clean and completely safe due to the fact that its handling a live virus, rushing such things can create further complications and inaccurate results

but DOH along with WHO are opening new labs capable of conducting such experiments. Theres really little political stuff about this, its entirely supply related and thats in a worldwide scale. Our healthcare alone is tippy due to lack of hospitals and fundings even before the

pandemic so thats that. I really dont want to mix too much political stuff into this topic because its a world effort and as a human being I know that everybody in the DOH and WHO is doing everything they can to stop the spread. Even after all this politics I still believe in

Filipino scientists to fight for the greater good.

"Quezon City Riot"
Back to politics I guess. First of all the QC riot alone which involved 21 people was a bit suspicious and political. The group called "Samahan ng Magkapitbahay" led by an unnamed 47 y.o. woman manipulated the said barangay. Rumours was spread

that a TV crew were handing out relief goods on the area where the group pick to conduct their riot. Now why did I say political? Political because their plan wasnt just for that barangay alone they were targeting other brgys as well namely Payatas, Batasan, Holy spirit and

commonwealth to make the mass believe that they were starving. Im not saying theyre not because the said barangay is a home for the lower class, what Im saying is that even before the pandemic they already were and most of their jobs are affected by the lockdown making things

even harder but the LGU didnt actually left them to starve QC reports that it already gave 952,000 food packs since the start of lockdown on March 31. Moreover the said pariticipants of the riots upon further interview admitted that they did actually received relief goods.

QC Mayor Joy Belmonte even requested their release for humanitarian reasons but the police involved to avoid any further rally complications continued with the charges. As the great Winston Churchill once said "never waste a good crisis" in this case even if it means endangering

your fellow countrymen and in the middle of the WORST FUCKING SHIT OF THE 21st CENTURY.
