Taehyung’s Tie Collection - a thread knot to be missed 
Peeking into their wardrobes give me the BIGGEST thrill. In these two images alone we see at least three iconic Tae shirts (the Burberry check, white floral Prada and his fave green floral Lissom) PLUS all his iconic ties - the subject of this thread and my eternal adoration.
Wings era Tae around early 2017 was really the tie collection’s coming out party - here the red tiger Gucci number is the perfect bold choice to say “hello everyone I wear ties now”.
Another Gucci boy, this time with a lil snake and my GOD he can pattern clash.
In a classic shirt, black trousers, Gucci slippers, a Burberry scarf and of course the star of the show (despite the scarf’s attempt at covering it up); the tie, this outfit is like Tae doing a cosplay of himself.
Here one of the ties shows up as a belt. Why you ask? Because Kim Taehyung is an experimental fashion icon that’s why.
The tie collection fits in perfectly with Tae’s art hoe vibe, so naturally where art is to be found the ties are close by!

The ties have also taken some delightful turns on Run - here a particularly “90s dad” version makes a splash on episode 37 with some cute af checky trousers and a cute af boy wearing them.
Not ONE episode later we get another stone cold classic tie look on episode 38.
A LEGENDARY tie, if only for the memes she helped to create on episode 43.
and FINALLY after a long absence the ties have recently started to make a reappearance, perfectly coinciding with the perm to create some of his most exquisite looks to date!
They say the sequel never lives up to the original but my god Tae’s Tie Collection 2: Necks Time It’s Personal has been an utter triumph so far. Long may it continue!!
