Thread of bls I’ve watched and my review

Tharntype: Tw toxic/kinda abusive relationship at the start, mentions of r*pe, violence, homophobia.

Tharntype was an okay show. I did like the character development and the explanation of Lhong’s character who’ll you’ll see is an absolute bitch. I wouldn’t recommend for people-

-who are sensitive. Kissing scenes were good and the actors had pretty great chemistry. Gulf(types actor) is new to acting, his first show/bl and sometimes it showed but all together I give this show a 6.7/10

Love by chance: slight homophobia, manipulation, sexual and physical harassment/bullying

Love by chance is the parent story to Tharntype and is set 3 yrs later. Pete and Ae’s story is cute and very wholesome but there is another main side couple called TinCan that I love-

-very much, even more than the main couple however there are some flaws. Tin is poorphobic lmao. If you’re middle or low class he hates you but that’s until he meets Can and becomes a whole new person. Also some slight manipulation to get Can do to some things. 7.8/10 recommend

Together with Me: Drunk sex, annoying ass gf, stupid ass decisions. I don’t think there are any actual triggers for this one.

Korn and Knock are childhood bsfs but get separated during middle school due to Knock moving away. They reunite in college and hit it off again-

-They get drunk with some girls but the girls end up leaving so Korn And Knock have sex and in the morning Knock gets real mad and ignored Korn for a while. Basically just a lot of back and forth arguments that also include Knock’s annoying and lying ass gf who I hate-

I do very much recommend this show it’s my favorite one and it has a season 2 which I have not seen yet sadly. Oh and potential trigger could be an age gap for one of the side couples (hate that bitch Bright btw) 10/10 and a *chefs kiss*

Bad romance: Nothing really again that I can think of.

Bad Romance is the parent story of Together with Me and as you can see it’s more of a straight drama. However Yiwha is best girl and I love her. Also KornKnock are featured in this as a main side couple so you see them often

Very cute romance story and I do recommend watching this one as well. I would say to watch TWM first so you understand their relationship better. 8.9/10

HIStory1 Stay Away From Me: step-bros ahaha

So this was 4 eps and the first HIStory series I watched. It’s alright and there’s not much too it. It’s Taiwanese and ends cutely. 5.6/10

HIStory1 Obsessed: Manipulation ig?? Sexual harassment too from what I remember

This one was kinda weird. Jing Teng faked amnesia for a bit to make Yichen feel guilty and take care of him and then fall in love with him?? Doesn’t do shit abt the future but it gets fixed. 4.3/10

HIStory2 Crossing the line/boundary: step bro side couple

This one is really cute and one of my Favela the HIStory series. Yuhao becomes really sweet and they are just adorable and I love this. Side couple is also kinda cute too 9.7/10

HIStory2 Right or Wrong: Age gap (like 15 yrs) teacher and student

Also quite cute. The daughter is adorable and so is their relationship. The college student is abt 20 and the teacher is abt 35 ish so there are the kinda ages. Really cute story tho 8/10

HIStory3 Trapped: Gang stuff, guns violence

This is my favorite HIStory series. I’ve watched fit three times and it’s so cute. Btw violence is just for the gang stuff not their relationship. It’s an enemies to lovers plot and they have an adorable side couple-

-that I adore with my whole heart. I reallyyyyy recommend this one bc it’s cute and funny at time. 11/10 RECOMMENDED

There is another HIStory3 series called Make Our Days Count And I haven’t fully finished it so I don’t have a review yet and HIStory1 My Hero which i haven’t seen. I don’t recommend My Hero tho

The Effect: TRIGGER TRIGGER TRIGGER R*PE SCENE AND HEAVY VIOLENCE ATTEMPTED SU*CI*E DO N O T WATCH IF YOU CANT HANDLE

This show has some really serious topics and shows a lot. Its a good show and I’d watch it again but the first time I saw it I felt so connected to-

-my baby Shin that i ended up almost having a panic attack and crying for almost an hr. This is the most serious show I’ve seen ends in a v ambiguous way. Please be careful with this one. I love the cast so much and they did great with this show 8.4/10

Sotus: no trigger warnings

This is the first bl I’ve ever watched and it’s adorable. It’s not the best bl but the story is cute and so are most of the characters. I would like a s/o like Kongpob pls. 7/10 v easy to watch for beginner bl watchers

Sotus S: again no triggers

2 yrs later and Arthit is still scared of coming out to others. Their relationship hits some rocky paths but ultimately ends up better than before. Also cute and a bit slow starting kinda 7/10

Waterboyy: Sexual harassment and stupid ass decisions

App is new to the school and Waii (swim team captain) hates his dad who is the swim coach. App joins swim team. They fight. They fall in love kinda bc Waii has a gf and thinks he straight so he dismisses his feelings-

-for Apo. Ends up okay. Other couple, Fah likes Pan but Pan is a lesbian and likes another girl. He helps her get with the girl. The other girl likes Fah. Then Pan starts liking Fah. Fah and Pan end up together. Crazy. All in all it’s pretty okay 7.7/10

In order. Tharntype, Love by Chance, Togethet with Me, Bad Romance. This is what the couples will look like. Lbc has four couples kengkla techno is an absolute no no tho. KornKnock are the yellow and blue in the middle sitting down. Tharntype are looking at each other

Addicted Heroin: Slight Stockholm syndrome outta nowhere. Some sexual harassment I think.

It’s a Chinese bl that somehow passed censorship. They do kiss. It’s a cute story and literally everyone who’s seen it wants a S2 that’ll never come bc of the gov. Basically enemies-

-To lovers. Guy sitting down gets together with guy standing on the far right. Other two are just their friends

Forgot the rating. 8.6/10

My Bromance the movie: step bros, violence, homophobia

It was alright. Not much to it. Don’t really recommend unless you’d like to watch. Sad ending 4/10

My bromance the series: violence, sorta forced sexual actions, step bros

So Ithis show is kinda boring. I was only interested really in the teacher who was outed as gay and then accused of harassing one of the male students (golf) and got fired 4/10

Theory of Love: Violence, sexual harassment, toxic friendship.

Alright so this show was actually pretty good all together. It focuses on film students so the filming is really dramatic and amazing to look at. The storyline is t i r i n g bro. Lots of angst. However-

When they do get together it’s adorable. Khai is brown outfit and Third is the one with the slate next to him. Their friends also have their own storylines one of which gets a boyfriend and the other stays lonely. 8.9/10 recommended

Counterattack/ Falling in Love with a Rival

Another Chinese bl. Starts out with the short dude and the girl breaking up. Short makes revenge plot or date the tall guy BC ex-gf likes him (she’s a gold digger) rich y’all dude hates him for a bit. Kiss kiss fall in love

-they fall for each other and end up getting together. Sorta a weird show but pretty good. The book is even better but I haven’t finished it yet. 7/10

2 moons: no triggers

Wayo has had a crush on Pha for like ever and didn’t know Pha had one on him. They eventually get together. Cute plot very simple. Couples are right across from each other. Middle photos are PhaYo. I DONT like Oha’s actor anymore 7.2/10

2 moons 2: sexual harassment, bullying.

Same story different cast. Basically remakes 2 moons in 4 eps and the rest of the eps are starting book 2. All three couples end up in their respective relationships. Still cute. Park is a whore 7.5/10
