live streaming, particularly when it is only generating financial support in a minority of cases, feels like a distraction that perpetuates the narrative that streaming will be music's salvation. Everything about this crisis _screams_ to me that the opposite is true.
until the tech develops there will only be niche demand for it, consider it paid radio until then (which would be GREAT). Gaming/TV/Film are just more engaging things to do by yourself at home. Music's one advantage long term is IRL congregation and full spectrum sound.
