Technology is just the best sometimes, my birthday was still full of joy thanks to FaceTimes and wonderful friends and lots of kind doorstep drop offs (2 metres away and a window wave!)
Technology is just the worst sometimes, limiting news and social media is essential for mental health
The NHS and 111 services are completely amazing and we are so so lucky to live in the UK, particular shout out to Jack the paramedic from Westminster Hospital and the wonderful A&E team at Kings
We are nothing without human connections and kindness
When strong enough nothing is as therapeutic as a good puzzle

We all take for granted good health and the ability to move around freely, this experience has certainly made me a lot more grateful and slowed me right down
Nothing beats spring sunshine, an open window and some birdsong
I have chosen the right person to marry, there is no-one in the world I would rather be stuck in a 1st floor one bed flat with for 3 weeks straight when I have been at my most ill
When you can’t taste or smell anything, and these senses slowly reappear, it is quite incredible how delicious food is
Breathing freely and unconsciously without coughing or struggling is something I will try not to take for granted ever again
SELF ISOLATE - coronavirus is nothing for some, really nasty for others (

And when it all feels a bit hopeless, I have learnt that watching an episode of Friends and eating a Lindt ball can make everything a little bit better
