Coronavirus might swing Britain left, or it may not. But even if it does, that doesn't mean voters will turn to Labour. Tories are leopards in chameleons' clothing – successful at appearing to change, even if they never do actually change their spots.

Labour must work hard to get any public attention whatsoever. The lack of trust and cultural disconnect is palpable.

We must begin by being a constructive opposition, not just on Coronavirus but on trade talks and immigration.
