Went with mates to see the Models back in the day at their height...the support act who we'd never heard of absolutely blew them off the stage, the Models sucked. The support act was Boom Crash Opera.
Not to forget the mighty Radio Birdman. My wife knows the legendary Deniz Tek because he's also an ED Dr, he was going to stop by one Christmas lunch but had to cancel, which was a relief tbh because I would have had to hide my guitars out of embarrassment

Also, Red Gum, saw them many times, always a fantastic show...fuck they hated the oils though...lol

Not to forget Spy V Spy...three blokes with a MONSTER sound...saw them many times at the Palais in Newcastle sometimes sober...ish......I believe Craig Bloxom settled in Newy so he must have liked the joint.
