Can we get an Instagram Live where editors, Art Directors, agents, brand managers discuss their talent discover process? How do the people who hire and essentially decided the “industry standard” etc go about bringing new voices and perspectives into their spaces?
What’s the model / formula for brining in new talent, how are they thinking about creativity and singularity in a global and localized context? And what are we collectively pushing towards?
A lot of people actually don’t know what they don’t know (myself included) and when I graduated I didn’t even realize what I was missing (because I didn’t know it was missing) and it I had to first learn which direction to look and what questions to ask.
We have a huge “brain drain” problem in SA and I’ll admit that I’m one of those people who wants out too

I’ve heard enough of those and I believe that they need to be met with the aligned actions.
