I want to elaborate on some of my opinions from tonight's stream. I don't know my full thoughts on the recent SMPtwt drama regarding
works. Ten years ago, creators didn't acknowledge the art that they found of them on various sites. Creators turned an eye away from it.

I think the biggest problem, specifically with the SMPtwt community is that, in a nutshell, the majority of the lot is fine. However, the community is also filled with individuals who enjoy soaking in drama, and "fighting the bad stans". You're punching at air.
These accounts that you share to "get people to block" were never "fans" to begin with. Today, I saw an account posting porn of my friends go from 8 followers to 50 because it was reposted to "block this person". You're doing the exact opposite of fixing the problem.
While the opposite, us creators do appreciate you doing what you have. We appreciate you standing up for us, however, you've got your finger in the barrel of a gun. If they pull the trigger, your finger is still getting blown off. You're not stopping that bullet.
A "fan" (who's really typically a troll) posts porn. You tell them to "stop doing that". They get a rise out of you, so, they keep doing it. Please, let us creators get offended. Don't get offended for us. Obviously, if a person is genuinely out of line, let them know. However-
It seems that every single day, I wake up to seeing three new accounts that "need blocked", that get more popular with every single tweet. Turn an eye. Ignore these people. If we can do it as creators, you should be able to do it as viewers.
These are extremely hard things to have opinions on. Not morally (because obviously it's fucked up regardless), but having potential inevitabilities, that while fucked up, we obviously can't stop. I'd rather us handle it gracefully, rather than a tirade.
