⋆ this is mainly a sleepy bois inc /wilbur, techno, n phil/ au
expect very little mentions of lunch club + others.
(all seen as sonas / mc skins !!)

minecraft worlds r accessed through a series of portals, or a portal network for short. these portals can either be public or private n can be switched as such at any moment for as long as the host wants.
certain portals at a certain location have a different 'gamemode.'

- wilbur is nomadic, bouncing around the survival section. his previous world used to be his skyblock world
- techno spends a majority of his time in the multiplayer section, or just hypixel for short
- phil hardly ever leaves the hardcore section

phil is the center of attention for a majority of the au, originally spending around five years isolated in a private hardcore world. the portal leading to his world was closed off to the public ever since the beginning.

one day, the portal opens. after five years, phil had died in his world. mauled by a baby zombie n finished off by a spider. his story becomes well-known n it quickly skyrockets him to fame, but he isnt happy about it, hes pissed. he doesnt want his legacy to be an event that has

left him greatly traumatized n physically (+ emotionally) scarred. he despises being pitied. his only comfort being the praise for his builds, left to be viewed by the public. phil continues to isolate himself away from others, diving into another hardcore world he loses to by

falling into the end void. around this point, phil starts getting approached by a member from the survival section, wilbur, who tries to comfort him n make small talk. phil also begins receiving letters from an anonymous source, attempting to do the same.

phil discovers that techno, a member of the multiplayer section, is behind the letters. he is turned away from his help, seeing him as nothing more an arrogant show-off who will likely resort to boasting about his skills. phil also jumps to the conclusion wilbur only wants to

reach out to him n gain his trust just to ride off of his fame. just before phil moves into his fourth hardcore world, wilbur confronts him n tries to speak w/ him, which phil responds negatively to n lashes out @ him. he finds himself venting his frustration not just verbally,

but physically, harming wilbur before realizing what he did. he flees, but takes the time to realize his wrongs n how its unhealthy to block away everyone n bottle up emotions. he reaches out to techno, who, throughout the entire situation,

kept sending letters to phil, a few of them asking him if he was up for meeting up in hypixel to spend the day together. he accepts the offer n comes to realize what he pushed away techno for is false, the arrogance he expected techno to have is mainly just an act, n in reality

hes relatively laid-back. phil also reaches out to wilbur, apologizing profusely for harming him n pushing him away. wilbur forgives him n just like he wanted from the beginning, they become close friends. while he still isnt over what he had to go through, phil becomes a lot

more vocal n open, allowing public access to his new world n using whatever time he can to be w/ wilbur, techno, or both.

- before giving up his skyblock world, wilbur snuck out his fish, new milo, n requested that he be set free in endlantis. one of the first things he goes to check on during his frequent visits is new milo in endlantis.
- techno continues to send letters due to distance.

- endlantis is a major comfort to phil, he goes there when upset or stressed.
- while wilbur is phils most common visitor, schlatt is sometimes caught lurking, n tommy occasionally comes in to try to bribe him of resources.
