This service would not be running if not for kind donations & incredible volunteers. In over 60 years, no phone call has gone unanswered & volunteers are battling the miles, many by foot, to get into branch & make sure this continues. In the last week, they’ve launched an emergency appeal. They simply need the funding. We cannot afford for them to close branches, they are a lifeline to so many. But they cannot afford to keep the phone lines open without the donations. £5 funds a call.

I cannot thank you all enough for your support & your kind donations over the last few months. Although I won't be running the @LondonMarathon until October, @JustGiving won't be waiting. They'll be sending that donated money to charity on a weekly basis. It really does count.

There are so many ways you can help. Whether that's by thanking volunteers on social media & raising awareness of their hard work, by donating hand sanitiser to your local branch or by donating the price of a coffee at Pret. We're all in this together & noone should feel alone.
