Watxhed first 3 episodes of Sunderland till I die last night and here's a few comments/observations I thought were great for fans to see on the inside:

- Jack Ross like many managers had to rebuild an entire dressing room and playing style in no time at all. Not all success...
Is instant. I personally think Ross is a fine young manager who will go on to do well. Players seem to like him and he gets culture unfortunately losing your best player and then results dipping can happen to anyone.

- The exurbant amount of money that gets wasted in football
- football is full of ego maniacs. Some have their heart in right place (perhaps like Charlie) but carry out their role with such an air of pompous nature it's simply all about them

- Agents....I know some agents. Good guys who work hard to keep their players...
Safe and at good clubs and get best deal but give good advice. I also know of absolutely shit bag agents however what's important to recognise the noise. Maja moved to Bordeaux where is scoring goals and getting PL interest. His move worked both financially and career wise.
- Trying to be diplomatic but their recruitment on strikers that window was shockingly bad. So many factors to this. The 30 goal a season man is a myth. Add goals from various positions is always best way to replace a 1 goal outlet monster like Maja. The ID/scouting...
Although not shown in depth must have been basic at best. Will Grigg had been a fine L1 player previously but to think that's the no 1 target is astonishing considering all factors. I won't even get into the transfer negotiations, could clearly see what was wrong..
When the head of operations and manager are literally telling the chairman do not bid any more he isn't worth it. Really really great example of ego/desperation in transfer windows.
