I& #39;m sure Aldrin will get an outpouring of sympathy on his show today, after being in tears describing his mother& #39;s abuse. What will go unchecked, as it did when he said it, his how his mother& #39;s pain was somehow forgotten when he inflicted that same abuse on two other women.
He spoke about his mother right after he said this, and it was incredible how he could be reduced to tears there, but was so casual when talking about inflicting violence on other women.
But you know, gents.

Also, according to him, children learn that violence is how conflict is solved when their mothers go back to abusive relationships.

I& #39;m not sure how you can talk about how badly your mother was abused and then in the next breath, emphasize how much she "provoked" another man and how amazing he was for showing restraint. But here we are. Oh and we need to talk about saving men.

This version of his misogyny relates a story of a woman whose daughter was raped and the daughter told the neighbour, not the mother. The question he derives is how does the mother not know this, and what kind of environment did she create that pushed her child away.
