I desperately wanted @ShaneLSimpson to look in the camera + confidently say to me, Beckett’s mom “people with disabilities matter + this government will do WHATEVER it takes to keep you safe + alive”. Many abled people take this for granted, #PWD don’t. 3/7 #COVID19DisabilityBC

Please, listen to disabled people, homeshare providers, parents, siblings + caregivers.

My son is only twelve years old but during Minister Simpson’s press conference, I envisioned Beckett as an adult. I feel worried for his future as a disabled person. 6/7 #COVID19DisabilityBC #COVIDBC #COVIDCanada
