ok imma be live tweeting my microloc install lol i started on March 23, 2020. it’ll be slow going since i do approx six locs every four days since we’re quarantined and aint nobody gonna see me anyways

so i was inspired in my grid pattern and install method by @/queeneleem on yt and @TyKaraAnn im doing microlocs via two strand twists and I’m estimating about 520 locs by the time i’m done! check them out on youtube and instagram too!

i’ve been keeping track of how many locs i have on grid paper and a tally system! i’m currently 87 locs in :)))

ok we’re on 103. ik its been two days but taking my time is my form of self care

cons: i have dandruff???? for the first time in my life??? i think its cuz its so dry here. i’ll keep u posted on how i rid it but what ugly timing

ok so... i need some help. i did like almost a 3rd of my head and have way less locs than i originally wanted. which would be nbd BUT i washed my hair last night and they plumped up bc im doing twists so they are bigger than i wanted too (also peep shrinkage )

ok gaydies we’re back!! i did a full 43 locs last night bringing us to a whopping 169!! we’re like 40% done also here are my bbs!! cooper and fanny :)

also after some research and one (1) full night of insomnia and asthma i decided to redo the locs i felt were too big at the top. not all of them but i know theyre gonna swell and its just not what i was going for. heres a pic of size comparison of the “big” ones and the new ones

also by “research” i mean admiring the hang time of these thinner locs on the side and ignoring all of ur good advice to make an irrational decision at 5 am
