I’m going to make some statements for everyone for #AutismAcceptanceMonth . 1. If an autistic person wants to say they have autism as well as calling themselves autistic they can, I’m a person who does it and I’m not the only one
2. An autistic person can represent themselves with the colour blue or any colour they want if they want to, they probably don’t support don’t Autism Speaks, my favourite colour is blue but that has nothing to do with my autism #AutismAcceptanceMonth
I’m in full support of the light up red instead cause for the #AutismAcceptanceMonth but some autistic people probably want to choose themselves on what colour represents them and we should let them cause it’s their choice
I’m not trying to be rude in this thread, I just want to let autistic people choose how they want to represent themselves because as people we should make our own choices about who we are and that includes how we want to represent our autism #AutismAcceptanceMonth
