I know in the other routes she goes home during the timeskip but if im not mistaken in CF the first time Petra gets to see Brigid again is at the end of the war, ELEVEN YEARS after she came to Fodlan...what a fuckin homecoming, man

Like thinking about her standing on the bow of her ship....or even riding her wyvern...watching as land appears on the horizon....tearing up when she sees the beaches and clear waves she remembers from her childhood...excellent content...

This is one of the scenes I had planned out for my slowburn Doropetra fic where they spend a week or so traveling back to Brigid together so I’m just musing over it again....
