So with casuals, visa holders, ppl on DSP and care-givers getting screwed here in Australia atm, I don’t think the government - or many ppl at all - understand why egalitarianism is so important right now 1/

If you create subclasses that are forced to scrabble and run around in a pandemic seeking food and shelter, then you increase the capacity for spread of the virus. 2/

You either ensure everyone is supported, each to their need — or you ensure more cases of COVID-19. 3/

You cannot solve COVID-19 without addressing inequality, because the gap inequality creates forces people to operate outside society. And right now, we need everyone to work together. 4/
