I've never owned a cat before and I'm kind of intimidated by them but also there's a pandemic on, I'm home alone and I'm starting to consider adopting one. Should I?
No dogs allowed in my building.
Look at this litter and tell me this isn't a special litter. The poses! Two of the three are still available together https://www.instagram.com/p/B1URUI_hHCo/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Well these beautiful cats have found a home and I'm happy for them and their new owners! I'm still "on the prowl," if you will, heh heh
I think I've filled out about 7 general applications and am just patiently awaiting information about the various cats that have caught my eye. Is that how this usually works?
Finally this is Floyd who has the best facial expression of all the cats I've seen. He's in New Jersey.
If you have advice about different types/breeds of cats feel free to share!
I have 24 hours to prepare. He comes with food, litter and a litter box and scoop. I'm cleaning and putting things away, what else should I do?
Ok! I made a temporary bed out of a cardboard box and this quilt that I recently made (it was a first-time practice quilt and I had no use for it until now!) and some matching catnip, which, I'm not sure if that's supposed to go in a bed but we'll see
Jelly has arrived! I set up a fun house of empty boxes for him but he just made a beeline for the recycling instead
I really can't overstate how unfamiliar I am with cats. I can't even remember a time in my life where I've picked one up. This is such an adventure for me. I've checked out every ebook on cats the NYPL has, I'm watching YouTube videos, you name it.
This cat has an IG, it's not all boudoir photography https://www.instagram.com/rhinestonecowcat/
At some point I broke this thread, here's more so you can get the full Jelly experience
