I want to share some thoughts about #APieceOfYourMind so here we go~
ps: I'm not a native English speaker so I'm sorry if I write something wrong ):
so, at first I was really confused with this drama and I couldn't enjoy the first 2 episodes because of it. but now, after watch eps 3-4 I think I understand everything better and I need to say that I loved it.
I see A Piece of Your Mind as a contemplation kind of drama? it's more about the emotions and feelings that we experience watching than the story itself - and don't get me wrong, the story is important too but this part is a important piece to appreciate the whole
I really love how beautiful everything is on this drama: the photography and the soundtrack have an important role to construct all this emotional experience. while I watched, I felt melancholy, sadness, warmed and a lot more
and it's really interesting how we can feel all that in a span of seconds!
I need to mention the cast too - what a good idea to put Jung Hae In and Chae Soo Bin together, honestly. they fit so well in both characters and their chemistry is insane.
Hae In is amazing but I need to talk about Soo Bin: what an incredible role. Seo Woo is an interesting character, if I need to describe her in a word it could be "empathy". I love how Seo Woo is so empathetic not only with Ji Soo and Ha Won but everyone?
some people may interpret her attitude as unreal (this is fiction, c'mon), but if people could have 30% of her empathy, the world would be a much better place ):
Ah! I almost forgot to mention: but I love how they talk about certain subjects like grief in a honest way, it's beautiful to watch! I felt all the emotions so deeply and I need to congrats the drama for make it so delicate and sincere.
the "unrequited love" topic is interesting too. To be honest, it was hard for me to understand Ha Won because of his intense devotion love because it look like obsession for me and it's not cool but I think I understand it better now.
I think the society doesn't allow me to look at the world in a "pure" (?) way so it was hard for me to understand how his devotion is actually honest and pure - and it amazed me.
