So with this Thundercat album releasing I thought I’d share why he became my favorite artist and why I made this account named after him. So irl things were not going too well and I felt pretty distant and misunderstood from all my friends which took its toll on me mentally...

This made me kinda isolate myself for a little while which is when I discovered Thundercat and his music immediately connected with me. The way he conveyed being himself on Drunk with so much confidence just made me feel better and made me more comfortable with myself...

So after that I decided to change, not as a person but the way I thought of myself. Stupid things people thought of me about like the music I listened to or what shows I watch just didn’t bother me anymore. It became a huge relief for me and I’ve become a better person bc of it..

So I made this account named after him bc I wanted it to be unique but also I wanted to be confident about myself on this platform. I am eternally grateful for everything Thundercat has done for me through his music and his attitude and I hope I bring that same energy here.
