Proctored exams thread and thoughts...
First something just does not sit right, with the idea of being recorded by a third party software and having that file saved on a cloud
Second, Its just uncomfortable knowing while youre in an exam mode something is tracking your every eye movement, or mouth movement, creates more stress
3) What if one does not have access to microphones, or camera& #39;s?
4) What if the internet goes away and it is not your fault? Wind made it bug? Or maybe even last minute internet issues, you can never depend on internet even though we "live" on it. Or even since every single family member is home, it lags because too many users
5) This has occurred to a friend of mine, if everyone takes the exam at the SAME time, what if the server lags due to many users being on it at once? If you& #39;re on a time limit and it lags, you will not recover that time, does not seem fair
6) If the exam must be done in a quiet environment, some people have family members who do not speak at a regular tone... Yes you can ask your parents and siblings to lower their tone and be quiet, doesn& #39;t mean it will work every-time
This thread is not solely based on me, its what i have found most students being concerned about, after reading several comments and messages on proctoring. Overall, i do understand proctoring is strict to avoid cheating and it makes sense. What are your thoughts?
