This was the first ever megami tensei game I played, it was a shitty but pretty good introduction for me to get into the series so I& #39;m just gonna try and beat this finally
Idk what this means but I saw Thanatos so that& #39;s cool (this is in the opening cutscene)
Really like the touches in how the alignment reps react to you naming them which goes into what& #39;s going on with this game. The law guy saying "I was supposed to do something" as soon as this game will lead into law acting upon the world is just a really clever foreshadow
When I played P4 and came across this reference I was pretty surprised ngl, it& #39;s cool how ATLUS USA referenced this even when we officially didn& #39;t get smt1 when P4 came out
I like how it can be interpreted that Steven made all of this happen, like he helps you and stuff but this man can unlock a hospital door while being locked up
From what I remembered in smt if... it was WAY too easy to change your alignment to chaos if you went grinding so I& #39;m definitely going to have to try and pay attention to my alignment
also just realized I& #39;m gonna miss being able to convert yen/macca to MAG.... like in soul hackers oof
I forgot that thunder spells can just, freeze enemies for their turn and you can basically do this to win every fight
It’s like the press turn system, if you just.... pressed every enemy with an attack and the enemy never got a turn
depending on what my alignment is later I may work to be neutral or just go with whatever this game throws at me as my alignment :/
It& #39;s the hee ho man
Got a Jack O& #39; Lantern instead
Okay I guess I& #39;m chaos rn, rip
Sometimes I forget that this isn& #39;t modern megaten where me at level 13 looking for fusions will just somehow find, this as a result I can& #39;t do
I like how even though this is a really old jrpg Atlus at least took the time to make your alignment buddies have a reason to even help the neutral person besides just being your friends from a dream
this really just shows how much SMT took influence from Devilman which is great
I like how trying to save the female protag from the execution actually results in every demon spectating just going after you in wave after wave
LOL in the early game I barely needed to use my demons besides Cerebus (so far)
I forgot you have to spend Yen to summon lol
