A! Kacchan and O! Deku are platonic (but pining for each ofc) roommates who are stuck in their apartment together because of the quarantine.

Deku has a very hard time being confined and gets really melancholy and cries a bunch which makes Katsuki extra grumpy because he hates
that he can’t do anything to help his friend(omega/crush) and feels like a useless Alpha.

At one point Katsuki yells at him about crying and Deku sobs more and tells him “I’m sorry, Kacchan. I’m just so sick of everything! I don’t even want to be in my nest anymore, I just want
something /new/.”

Katsuki doesn’t say anything else, just leaves Deku alone to finish crying and heads to his own room because he finally has a plan that might actually cheer Deku up.

He works the rest day and into the evening, grabbing stuff from all over the apartment and
bringing it to his room. He tries to be sneaky at first but quickly realizes that Deku isn’t paying attention to him, focused instead with staring longingly out of the living room window.

When he’s finally done, Katsuki stands in his bedroom doorway and admires his work.
He’d built Deku a new ‘nest’, finding all the softest blankets and pillows their apartment had to offer and lining his large bed them. He’d mixed in some of his own clothing, knowing Deku had always liked his scent and added as many small little touches he could think of-
a few of Deku’s favorite hero plushies, a scarf Inko had knitted for Katsuki last Christmas that still held her scent, the stupid bunny plush Deku had won for Katsuki at a carnival and had insisted he keep, a few of things with their friend’s hero colors to both brighten it up
and give Deku the comfort that thinking of them would hopefully provide.

Above the bed/nest he strung up some white Christmas lights, probably cheesy but right up Deku’s alley.

His last touch was a slide show of beautiful scenery playing on the tv that’s mounted on his wall
accompanied by a soothing mix of music and nature songs.

Pleased with himself, Katsuki goes to the living room to get Deku, beckoning him to follow with a “C’mon, nerd.”

Deku’s eyes are puffy, red and rimmed with confusion but he gets up and follows Katsuki without question.
When Katsuki goes into his bedroom though, Deku pauses in the hall.

“Kacchan, what are we doing?” He asks, hesitant.

“Just get your ass in here, Deku. I made you something.”

Deku looks unsure but comes to the door way, his eyes instantly settling on the bed. His eyes scan over
all of it, taking in the soft blankets, the soft lighting and the soft sounds. He doesn’t say anything at first, his mouth open as if he doesn’t know what to make of it.

Katsuki crosses his arms, wondering if maybe the nest wasn’t as good as he thought before quickly throwing
that thought away because fuck that, he /knew/ it was a great nest, dammit.

“So what’dya think?” He prompts, tired of waiting

Dekus eyes snap to him, his mouth still hanging open.

“Kacchan,” he says, voice just above a whisper. “Are you.. are you inviting me to share you bed?”
Katsuki’s heart stutters as his world tilts on its axis. His arms drop to his sides as he stares back at his Omega in shock.

What. The. Fuck.

He.. he’d just wanted to do something that would make Deku feel better! He hadn’t stopped to even think about what this would look like.
But that’s... that’s exactly what this fucking looks like....

/God dammit/ he was such a stupid, knotheaded Alpha. He’d fucked up. Like really fucked up. Deku was rightfully going to be pissed and everything they’d done to repair their friendship would be ruined...
Katsukis ready to back track, to apologize & try to make Deku understand but then the scent of slick reaches his nose & his world tilts once more

He searches Dekus face, notices his hooded eyes & the way he’s biting his lip, cheeks a rosy pink

Dekus not offended. He’s /aroused/
Katsuki doesn’t think, just lets his instincts guide him as he surges forward and takes Deku into his arms, silencing any other questions he might have had as he captures his lips. He’d waited /so/ long to make Deku his and if the omega’s enthusiastic response to his advances
were any indication it seemed that the feeling was mutual.

They eventually make their way to the nest, clothes and inhibitions striped away as they go.

They spend the next hour, tangled together, a jumbled mess of teeth and growls, soft lips and hard grips, frevant need and
unleashed desire.

Afterwards they lay in each others arms, scents intertwined and reeking of happiness and pleasure.

“I can’t believe you built me a nest,” Deku eventually says, sighing contentedly against Kacchan’s chest.

“I just wanted to make you happy,” Katsuki admits.
“You did,” Deku says, smiling up at him. “Such a good Alpha.”

Katsuki preens at the praise, holds his little Omega a just bit tighter. Deku didn’t need to know that the nest hadn’t been an invitation. He was happy and Katsuki would damn well make sure it stayed that way.
They use of the rest of their time in quarantine making up for all the years they’d lost together being oblivious idiots and the only tears that leak from Deku’s eyes aren’t caused by sadness.
