Remote work tip:

When doing calls from a computer, **do not use bluetooth headphones, especially not AirPods.**

Bluetooth mics on laptops are limited to 16khz (=they sound awful), and introduce 150-200ms extra latency.

For comparison, your speech can travel from California to New York in 40ms. But your AirPods add 150ms on top of that.

A packet of data travels 4x faster over the entire continent than the 3ft distance in your house.

Use traditional 3.5mm (jack) corded headphones that have a built-in mic, for best sound quality, latency and performance.

E.g. traditional corded Apple headphones are great.
