Some observations relating to @AndromedaMetals $ADN and the current pandemic.
I’m by no means a virologist but I can read information and draw linkages and look at possibilities.

Water and wastewater treatment research is an intense area of focus for $ADN and $MEP. They are even pursuing a $3M AUD federal grant via their research JV.
They are working with University of Newcastle. https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/latest-news-headlines/south-australian-explorers-eye-new-markets-for-halloysite-with-research-entity-57750717

Aware of the biomedical and environmental potential of Halloysite and for that matter Kaolinite, I started doing some research.

Things I found
a. Kaolinite is an effective absorbent for reoviruses
b. Reoviruses share similarities with Coronaviruses
c. Bat-derived Coronavirus share Reovrius characteristics
d. Coronaviruses find their way to wastewater
e. Methods are needed to treat water and wastewater

Kaolinite was shown in 1983 to be an effective absorbent for reoviruses ( and by extension will likely be a good absorbent for coronavirus )

4. Water treatment applications will require very large volumes of the raw materials ( such as kaolinite and halloysite ) needed for effective water treatment.
… and it turns out that Halloysite Nanotubes and more broadly kaolinite have application in water treatment

5. Membranes and ultrafiltration can be used to remove viruses down to a size of 20 nm. https://www.intechopen.com/books/advances-in-membrane-technologies/organic-inorganic-hybrid-membranes-for-agricultural-wastewater-treatment
6. The current pandemic will only accelerate demand for the key raw materials needed for water and waste water treatment applications.
7. So some research (and commercialisation) focus is needed on the use of Halloysite Nanotubes and Kaolinite to remove viruses and other organic mater from water supplies and waste water.
